In simple terms, Athiya Shetty, actress and daughter of Suniel Shetty, along with Indian cricketer KL Rahul, announced the birth of their first child, a girl, on March 2025. The joyous news led to Rahul taking a break from Delhi Capitals‘ opening game against Lucknow Super Giants to be with his family. In response, the entire Delhi Capitals team extended their warm congratulations in a unique and heartfelt manner.
A post has been made on Delhi Capitals’ Instagram account where they’ve uploaded a clip showing their team captain, alongside Axar Patel, Mitchell Starc, and coach Kevin Pietersen (and other team members), inside their locker room.
Expressing their heartfelt joy, the entire team made a sweet gesture by rocking back and forth in honor of KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty welcoming their baby girl. To make it even more special, they added the Meri Duniya Tu Hi Re song from Heyy Babyy, featuring Akshay Kumar, to the video.
