As a seasoned FPS gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, let me tell you, I’ve seen it all – from Quake to Overwatch, and now here we are, gearing up for the closed alpha of Delta Force Hawk Ops! I can’t wait to get my hands on this bad boy.
Players have an excellent opportunity with the closed Alpha of Delta Force Hawk Ops to test drive this free-to-play FPS, however, figuring out how to access it and when it commences is essential prior to jumping in.
How to access the closed alpha
There are three ways to access the closed alpha test for Delta Force Hawk Ops:
- Through the official website, after pressing the ‘Join Test’ button and filling out the survey
- Through the Steam Playtest Feature on the game’s official page by pressing the ‘Request Access’ button
- Through Twitch Drops and Community Giveaways on official social media channels and through your favourite participating streamers
If you registered prior to our alpha launch, you’ll discover whether your registration was successful by August 5th. However, access will remain available following the launch, continually.
Furthermore, having taken the latest Technical Test grants you immediate access to the alpha version as well.
When does the closed alpha start?
As an excited enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be plunging into the closed alpha on August 6, 2024, at 1:00 AM BST. Remember, this is a worldwide launch, so adjust accordingly to your local time zone.

- 02:00 August 6 (CEST)
At present, we don’t have details about when the alpha will conclude, but I suspect it won’t persist for more than a week or two.
Does alpha progress carry over?
It turns out that any advancements you achieve while playing the closed alpha version of Delta Force Hawk Ops won’t be saved when the complete game is launched.
The reason for this is because the project is still under construction (work-in-progress), and the developers want a pristine or fresh environment when the game goes live, so they can start with a clean slate.
