Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle popcorn bucket revealed

Japanese cinema chain T-Joy teams up with Studio Ufotable to offer a special, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle themed popcorn bucket as a limited edition item.

The item you’re referring to is designed like a film roll. It includes a spinning core that showcases artwork and iconic moments from the series. This unique bucket will be on sale at selected Japanese cinemas starting July 18, 2025. This date coincides with the domestic release of Infinity Castle Part 1. The estimated cost is around ¥2,900, which is roughly equivalent to $20 USD.

On occasion, anime movies have given out collectible popcorn containers as promotional items, and this was the case with One Piece Film: Red in 2022. The container was shaped like the Gum-Gum Fruit, a popular character item, and it was available exclusively in Japanese cinemas.

This trend mirrors the popularity of cinema-inspired containers in the Western world, such as those for Dune: Part II. Asa Suehira, Chief Content Officer at Crunchyroll, stated that “Infinity Castle” will also be distributed on an unprecedented scale. I’m confident it will mark a significant milestone in theatrical anime production.

Haruo Sotozaki directs the film, while Ufotable handles animation and scriptwriting. Two songs complement the movie: “A World Where the Sun Never Rises” by Aimer and “Shine in the Cruel Night” by LiSA.
