Denzel Curry Hops on Fred again.., Skepta, Plaqueboymax’s “Victory Lap”

Summary

  • Denzel Curry jumped on Fred again..’s “Victory Lap” featuring Skepta and Plaqueboymax
  • “Victory Lap 2” is now on streaming services everywhere

As a gamer, I’d put it like this: Last time out in Brooklyn, Skepta, Fred again.., and Plaqueboymax turned the Paramount into their own turf with an exclusive pop-up show. They premiered their track “Victory Lap” there. Now, Denzel Curry has jumped on board to inject some Florida vibe into the fresh rendition of that track, titled “Victory Lap 2.”

Last night on Instagram, Fred announced the upcoming collaboration with Denzel Curry, stating that ‘Victory lapped (and so did Denzel Curry). The people agreed, and when Denzel spoke, it was hard to find words after that.’ Immediately, fans, friends, and collaborators alike showed their excitement for this first-ever partnership between Curry and Fred.

In a new take, “Victory Lap 2” commences as before, featuring a hook sampled from Doechii, followed by Skepta rapping his two verses. Then, Steph Curry steps up to deliver the third verse.

Pass me that paper, keep spinning it every day / I need to hold onto it, without it, no Allstate, he raps as the bass thumps. ‘Mount Rushmore’ is what I call something of great importance / It’s priceless and demands repeated plays.

Stream “Victory Lap 2” out everywhere now.
