The images, shared by @thesolechaserz, suggest that this 2025 re-release will be an exact recreation of the legendary 2012 drop, featuring the captivating all-over cosmic print and glowing soles that left sneaker enthusiasts in a frenzy when it was first launched. While we’re yet to hear if anyone will be swapping cars for these this time (and whether the “Remove Before Flight” tag from the 2012 pair will make a return), we can expect the Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” to land in February, possibly coinciding with NBA All-Star Weekend. New Info: The buzz around the Nike Air Foamposite One is still high, and now we know that the “Galaxy” colorway, which was speculated last year, is indeed coming back – although it’s hitting stores a year later than initially suggested. During this year’s SNKRS Showcase live stream, Nike officially revealed the shoe, stating that it will drop in spring 2025. A little over a decade ago, I was one of those sneaker enthusiasts who camped outside stores for an entire week, all in hopes of getting my hands on the legendary Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy”. This iconic shoe from Nike’s All-Star collection of 2012 has been a highly sought-after item ever since. Fans like me have been eagerly waiting for a restock, and now it looks like we might get our wish next year! The hype around this silhouette has been gradually building up again, thanks to the CdGH+ collaboration in 2021 and several new colorways that dropped this year. Back in 2018, we got a spin-off version, but this time, it’s set to reappear in its original glory. I’m talking about the iconic graphic on the upper, mini Swooshes at the toe, and a glow-in-the-dark outsole – plus, there might even be a custom hangtag! The Swoosh has some amazing things planned for the Foamposite as it continues its triumphant return. Can’t wait to see what else they’ve got in store!
