As a seasoned Diablo player with countless hours spent slaying demons and conquering Sanctuaries, I must say that the new Season of Infernal Hordes has not disappointed me. The first quest, ‘Of Lambs and Wolves,’ may seem straightforward at first glance, but it can prove to be quite the challenge, especially near the end.

In your initial adventure in Diablo 4’s latest Season of the Infernal Hordes, titled “Of Lambs and Wolves,” may pose some challenges towards the end. But don’t worry, I’ve broken down all the necessary steps for you, ensuring a smooth start to Season 5!

How to complete Of Lambs and Wolves

1. In Season 5, if you introduce a new character without joining the campaign initially, you’ll begin your adventure in the city of Zarbinzet, where the story of Of Lambs and Wolves begins. If you join later, you’ll need to travel there and converse with Captain Cireska.

As you converse with Cireska and Locran, your mission will eventually involve searching for the location of Locran’s family to the south. However, the challenge lies in the fact that there are no specific details about where the house is situated. It will be your responsibility to scour the area until you find it.

Where to find Locran’s family

You’ll locate the house with the Reinforced Door, specifically in the southwest area of Umir Plateau, which is within Hawezar. Luckily, it’s not far once you know your way, allowing you to advance the quest swiftly.

After entering the house, you might find yourself engaging in a prolonged conversation with Locran and Istel. Eventually, they’ll ask you to procure something specific – Fetid Khazra Liver. Locate the liver within the Crate of Khazra Organs situated at the rear of the room, then speak to Istel again.

Afterward, you’ll encounter two distinct adversaries, neither particularly challenging if you’ve had the chance to increase your levels a few times. Ultimately, you will be rewarded with a ‘Mother’s Gift’.

Talk to Locran one last time before moving forward, wrapping up the current quest and embarking on a new journey towards the Infernal Hordes. The next mission, ‘The Rising Hells’, requires you to find 15 Mother’s Gifts. I suggest visiting the active Helltide region as it is filled with Elite enemies that can aid you in your quest.
