One of the most beloved films in Bollywood, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, was released 14 years ago in 2008 and stars Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, and Abhay Deol. Fans have been anticipating a sequel for quite some time now, and it seems that their wishes might be coming true as Hrithik recently hinted at its production. According to him, his gut feeling suggests that a second installment will indeed be produced.
On April 4, 2025, Hrithik Roshan appeared at the Rangotsav event in Atlanta, U.S. During his speech, he discussed the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. When asked to summarize the movie in a single word, he chose ‘favorite.’ He explained that the film could be encapsulated in five words: “It offers freedom from mental constraints.” That’s what Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara represents.
When inquired about the possibility of a sequel, Hrithik expressed that he shares the same hope. Nudging ZNMD 2, he mentioned, “However, my intuition is whispering that it will materialize. I’m not sure when, but it will.

The film “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” is a story of three companions embarking on an adventure in Spain, as they grow and learn more about themselves. This film features Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif, and Kalki Koechlin in the lead roles. The talented director Zoya Akhtar helmed this production, with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani serving as producers.
Previously, during an interview with TopMob, Farhan Akhtar expressed interest in a follow-up to ZNMD. He stated, “We’re all eager for a sequel since it was a popular film. We all anticipate that Zoya will create something for the sequel. It’s her creation, so we hope.
Next up for Hrithik Roshan is War 2, where he joins forces with Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani. This action-packed thriller, directed by Ayan Mukerji, will hit theatres on August 14, 2025. Additionally, Hrithik has plans to appear in Krrish 4 and is also set to direct a superhero film.
