As a fervent admirer of Bhuvan Bam’s extraordinary journey, I can’t help but be utterly captivated by his latest endeavor, Taaza Khabar 2, which promises to be even more enthralling with Jaaved Jaaferi joining the cast. It’s truly awe-inspiring to witness how Bhuvan has managed to garner such esteemed collaborations, all while maintaining the charm and authenticity that his audience adores.
The Bhuvan Bam-starring series “Taaza Khabar 2” is getting ready for its premiere, and it’s been announced that Jaaved Jaaferi will be playing a villainous role in the show. In an interesting twist, Bam shared that he approached Jaaferi about the web series during a phone call when discussing his take on Takeshi’s Castle, which had already premiered on Amazon Prime.
In a recent chat with India Today, Bhuvan Bam reminisced about the time when the Takeshi’s Castle trailer came out, he reached out to Jaaved Jaaferi. He openly acknowledged that it was quite significant for him to follow in Jaaferi’s footsteps, but he seized the opportunity as it presented itself as a “wonderful chance” for his career.
He further recollected his memory of telling Jaaved, “‘Sir, main Bhuvan baat kar raha hoon (My name is Bhuvan). Takeshi’s trailer has come today’. He said, ‘I watched it. It’s good, it’s very good. Let’s meet some time. I have seen your work’,” recalled Bhuvan further adding that it was an “out of syllabus” conversation for him.
In simpler terms, during the conversation, the popular YouTuber mentioned that he proposed the idea of Taaza Khabar 2 and considered it a privilege to work alongside him. Bam explained, “It was particularly challenging to find someone suitable for the antagonist role, so we suggested it at that time.
In a recent statement, a 30-year-old individual expressed that most people might assume they know how a familiar face behaves, but no one has ever witnessed Jaaved in a negative role. Drawing from his personal experience, he explained that when he worked alongside him on set and delivered lines directly to him, it was difficult for him to recognize the same Jaaved known for making people laugh.
He praised the exceptional work of everyone involved, particularly Mahesh Manjrekar and Devn Bhojani, stating that it was a privilege for himself and our team to have them join us.
In summary, he considered himself fortunate for having the opportunity to work alongside individuals often referred to as “legends”. Being the most inexperienced and youngest actor on set, he felt particularly blessed to observe these seasoned professionals at work.
In the second installment of Taaza Khabar, actors such as Shriya Pilgaonkar, Prathamesh Parab, Deven Bhojani, and Shilpa Shukla take on significant roles. This season will be available for viewing on Disney+Hotstar starting September 27, 2024.
