As an ardent fan of the dynamic world of Bollywood, I can’t help but feel a profound sense of admiration for Siddhant Chaturvedi, who has time and again proven his versatility and passion for his craft. His journey from being a budding actor in Inside Edge to the charismatic MC Sher in Gully Boy is nothing short of inspiring.
The upcoming movie “Don 3” by Farhan Akhtar has sparked a lot of excitement among viewers, long before it starts filming, and people can’t wait for its premiere in 2025. Featuring Ranveer Singh, this film is one of the most eagerly awaited productions of next year. Aspiring actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, who’s preparing for his upcoming project “Yudhra,” has expressed interest in landing a role in “Don 3.
Additionally, he shared that during his audition for Yudhra, it crossed his mind that he could potentially be part of Don 3 since Farhan Akhtar was present. Siddhant also commented, “At that moment in time, the idea of doing an action movie seemed like a distant aspiration to me.
In a chat with News 18, Siddhant Chaturvedi opened up about securing the part in Yudhra and his initial perplexity concerning Don 3. He elucidated that following the launch of Gully Boy, he sought advice from his mentor, Ritesh Sidhwani, who had been guiding him since the Inside Edge era.
In their talk about his professional goals, Siddhant shared his wish to participate in an action movie. Coincidentally, he found out that Farhan Akhtar was having talks with writer Shridhar Raghavan regarding a fresh action venture. Due to Farhan’s participation, Siddhant erroneously thought it could be Don 3, considering an action project involving Farhan seemed like a suitable addition to the Don series.
Speaking about his desire to be part of Don 3, Siddhant Chaturvedi shared that at first, he aspired to secure a role within the movie. However, Ritesh Sidhwani clarified that the project had no connection with Don. “I assumed they would cast me in Don, but Ritesh sir explained it wasn’t Don they were referring to. Even so, I was eager to audition for the part. If the director, Ravi Udyawar, found me suitable, I could join the film. Interestingly, Ravi sir, who had seen Gully Boy, wanted the persona and attitude of MC Sher in Yudhra as well,” he added.
Despite not playing Don 3, landing the role of Yudhra was a long-held dream fulfilled for Siddhant Chaturvedi. At that point, they only had a five-page script detailing action scenes and the rough plotline. As he’d always aspired to be in a large-scale action movie, Siddhant believed Yudhra was an ideal opportunity. He looked forward to collaborating with skilled technicians and fellow actors on the project.
Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi joined the cast of “Yudhra” following the triumph of “Gully Boy.” This upcoming movie, slated for a release on September 20th, boasts Malavika Mohanan and Raghav Juyal among its main players as well.
