As an ardent admirer of Sunny Singh’s acting prowess, I find myself continually captivated by his unwavering dedication to his craft. His recent revelation about performing the climactic walking scene in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety while battling a leg injury is nothing short of heroic!
Sunny Singh, an accomplished actor in Bollywood, consistently shines on screen, making full use of every moment and consistently giving top-notch performances in all his roles. One of his standout films so far is Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, for which he garnered significant acclaim. Lately, the actor looked back at his time filming and revealed that he bravely carried out the dramatic final scene, despite enduring severe pain.
In a recent chat with Filmygyan, the actor from Pyaar Ka Punchnama revealed that during the final scene of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, he was severely hurting due to a leg injury that resulted in bleeding. Remarkably, he kept this secret and managed to finish the scene where he had to walk away from the mandap towards Kartik Aaryan, despite the pain.
During the filming, I felt a slight injury on my foot that was wrapped up. I had to walk onto the stage while blood was trickling from my wound, but no one noticed. I managed to hide it, as I was in character and there was an air of professionalism on set. However, at that moment, I didn’t realize the pain.
During filming, I sustained an injury on my leg which required bandaging. Despite the wound bleeding, I had to walk onto the stage, and amazingly, nobody seemed to notice. I persevered, maintaining my character, even as I endured the pain. The set fell silent, and though I felt the agony, it was momentarily forgotten in that instant.
In terms of his professional life, the latest role played by Singh was in Wild Wild Punjab, a 2024 Indian Hindi-language comedy film. This movie, helmed by director Simarpreet Singh, is a production of T-Series Films and Luv Films. The star-studded cast includes Varun Sharma, Jassie Gill, Sunny Singh, Manjot Singh, Patralekha Paul, and Ishita Raj Sharma. It made its debut on Netflix on July 10, 2024.
Previously, I had the pleasure of gracing the screen in “Luv Ki Arrange Marriage” alongside the talented Avneet Kaur. This remarkable series was skillfully directed by Ishrat Khan and jointly produced by the visionary Bhanushali brothers, Vinod and Kamlesh, along with Raaj Shaandilyaa and Vimal Lahoti.
