Diljit Dosanjh’s fan sends legal notice to singer alleging he manipulated ticket prices for Dil-Luminati Tour 2024

As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen countless concerts and events, and it seems that the Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour is causing quite a stir. While I understand the excitement surrounding such high-profile musical events, I must say that the allegations of manipulation in ticket sales and violations of consumer rights are concerning.

The upcoming Dil-Luminati Tour by Diljit Dosanjh is causing quite a buzz on social media. Although there’s disagreement about the high costs of the tickets, one fan named Riddhima Kapoor has issued a formal complaint to the singer. She claims that there’s been manipulation in the ticket sales process and accuses the event organizers of infringing upon consumer rights.

As an ardent admirer of Diljit Dosanjh and a dedicated law student, I found myself compelled to take action. Following a report in the Free Press Journal, I, Riddhima Kapoor, have issued a legal notice to the singer himself. The focus of my notice lies in the manipulation of ticket prices, unjust trade practices, and the reselling of tickets for Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-luminati India Tour – issues that I believe tarnish the reputation of both the artist and his fans.

In her statement, she explained that although she had mentioned September 12 at 1 pm as the ticket booking time, tickets were actually made available a minute earlier at 12:59 pm. This quick release led to hundreds of fans snatching up the tickets within seconds. She admitted that she obtained an HDFC credit card specifically to secure early-bird passes. However, even though the money was taken from her account, she was unable to obtain the passes and the funds were returned later.

The sudden and questionable transaction, along with the disappearance of tickets, appears to indicate that your organization could be engaging in deceptive practices like ticket manipulation and scalping. This behavior, which involves raising prices artificially due to increased demand, is considered an unfair trade practice according to the Consumer Protection Act of 2019. The action of purchasing tickets with the intention to resell them at higher prices, known as scalping, directly infringes upon consumer rights and demonstrates poor business ethics.

Beyond Diljit, additional legal notices have been dispatched to Zomato, HDFC Bank, and Saregama Private Limited. As of now, they have yet to acknowledge or address these notifications.

The highly anticipated musical concert of the legendary singer is scheduled to begin at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 26, 2024. After that, fans can expect to be captivated by his performance in several cities such as Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.

In terms of my professional endeavors, I’ve got some exciting updates to share! Earlier today, the song “Chal Kudiye” from Jigra featuring Diljit Dosanjh and Alia Bhatt saw its release. On a related note, I’m also working on a sequel to Sunny Deol’s iconic war-drama film, Border 2. This upcoming project is under the direction of Anurag Singh, who previously brought us Kesari. And here’s an intriguing detail: Varun Dhawan will be playing a significant role in this film as well.
