As a gamer, I stumbled upon an intriguing headgear hidden atop a spiky stone in the Kuttenberg region. The spot you’re seeking is known as the ‘venerable giant tree’, which lies to the south of Kuttenberg city and beyond the Charcoal Burners’ Camp. Once you’ve reached the camp, navigate towards its heart within the woods and continue moving southward. Keep the map above handy for guidance.
In order to set foot in Kuttenberg in KCD2, players must first progress a substantial amount through the main storyline. Essentially, about half of the game needs to be finished before reaching this area. So, if the matter with Lord Von Bergow in Trosky hasn’t been resolved yet, it would be wise to address it promptly if you wish to obtain that hat.
What Does Luffy’s Hat Do?
Should you be on the hunt for an instrument that’s truly beneficial, I regret to inform you that the Unusual Sombrero lacks any practical function. Instead, it draws unwanted attention as it makes you stand out conspicuously. Sadly, it doesn’t provide any protection and significantly boosts your visibility by a staggering 950 points.
For those not familiar with the term, Conspicuousness describes how likely Non-Player Characters (NPCs) are to notice you, with a higher stat indicating greater visibility. So, if you’re aiming for a stealthy appearance, the Strange Strawhat might not be the best choice as it stands out quite significantly in your outfit selection.
Conversely, if you aim to capture everyone’s attention for some purpose, simply wearing this hat on your head will do the trick. However, since it doesn’t provide any protection, you’ll need to be particularly cautious when safeguarding your head, as a random hit or projectile could quickly send you back to an earlier game state.
