In Los Angeles County, numerous fires have been causing extensive damage, burning over 10,000 buildings and projected to cost economically billions. In response, film studios are actively organizing relief efforts of their own.
Disney, headquartered in Burbank, announced on Friday its intent to donate $15 million towards various relief initiatives. This money will be specifically set aside for the American Red Cross, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, and other similar organizations.
