As a seasoned gamer of the Marvel universe, I’ve seen my fair share of heroic feats and epic battles. The announcement of “Daredevil: Born Again” has sent a thrill down my virtual spine! Having followed Matt Murdock’s journey since his Netflix days, I can hardly contain my excitement to see Charlie Cox reprise his role once more.
For more than five years now, since Netflix canceled its Daredevil series, a fresh take on the character is set to debut soon. The highly anticipated Disney series titled Daredevil: Born Again has been given a release date in March 2025.
2022 saw the initial announcement of “Born Again,” but it was only in April of this very year that production on the series came to a close. The inaugural season, comprising nine episodes, is set to be part of Phase Five within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Charlie Cox, who previously portrayed Matt Murdock/Daredevil on the Netflix show, is set to reprise his character. After the series was terminated, Cox has since appeared as the same character in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (2021) and “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” (2022) on Disney, and also made a brief appearance in the Disney miniseries, “Echo.
Sharing the screen with Cox is Vincent D’Onofrio, portraying Wilson Fisk/Kingpin. The ensemble also includes Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Jon Bernthal, and additional cast members.
Daredevil: Born Again premieres on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
