The Haunted Mansion attraction first appeared at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, way back in 1969. Since then, it has undergone numerous upgrades over the years, one of which is a seasonal transformation based on “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. Similar rides can be found at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom park, and international versions include Phantom Manor in Disneyland Paris and Mystic Manor in Hong Kong Disneyland.
The spooky attraction has spawned two movies as well: one released in 2003 titled “Haunted Mansion,” featuring Eddie Murphy, and another from 2023 called “Haunted Mansion,” starring Rosario Dawson, LaKeith Stanfield, Owen Wilson, Tiffany Haddish, and Danny DeVito. Both of these films are available for streaming on Disney+.
