Doechii Earns First Top 10 Album With ‘Alligator Bites Never Heal’

Doechii has cracked the Billboard 200 top 10 for the first time with Alligator Bites Never Heal.

This week, Doechii’s GRAMMY-winning album, Alligator Bites Never Heal, moves up from the 24th spot to the 10th position on the charts. The surge comes following its release on vinyl and CD formats. With a total of 33,000 equivalent album units, it garnered 18,500 in streaming equivalent album units (equivalent to 25.9 million on-demand streams), 14,000 in album sales, and 500 in track equivalent album units. Notably, this achievement by Doechii happened approximately a month after she made her first entry into the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with “Anxiety” in late March.

As I navigate through my playlists, it’s me, SZA, back on top of the charts yet again with her album “SOS” claiming the No.1 spot for a staggering 13th time! This isn’t just any victory, but a record-breaking one – I now hold the title for the most weeks atop the R&B/hip-hop chart and the R&B chart by a female artist, setting the bar high for others in the game.

Here are the remaining top 10 for this week: Morgan Wallen takes the third spot, followed by Sabrina Carpenter at number four. Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR share the fifth position. Bad Bunny comes in sixth, Playboi Carti is seventh, Lady Gaga claims eighth, and Morgan Wallen rounds up the top 10 again at number nine.
