As an avid movie enthusiast with a penchant for gripping narratives, I can hardly contain my excitement about Don 3! The prospect of watching Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani in action is already tantalizing, but the recent rumor that Vikrant Massey might be joining the cast as the antagonist has sent my anticipation soaring.
Currently in production, the film titled “Don 3” features Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani, with Farhan Akhtar at the helm. As the project moves forward, recent news indicates that Vikrant Massey, known for his role in “The Sabarmati Report,” has been offered the part of the villain in this upcoming movie.
Based on an article from India Today, it’s been reported that Vikrant Massey, who gave a standout performance in the film 12th Fail, is being considered for the main villain part in the upcoming movie Don 3.
The movie is considering Vikrant for the lead antagonist role alongside Ranveer Singh. Although this prospect is enticing, Vikrant hasn’t accepted the offer as of now. Moreover, Farhan Akhtar has remained silent about these speculations so far.
During a different conversation with YouTube personality Raj Shamani, Akhtar shared his thoughts on the selection of Singh for Don 3 and explained why a trilogy featuring Shah Rukh Khan was not something he had contemplated.
As a devoted admirer, I can share that during our discussions about Don 3, Farhan made it clear he was seeking a young, charismatic talent for the role – and Ranveer fit the bill perfectly. He commended the actor’s ability to be both captivating and playful, as well as his boundless energy.
In addition, the Director noted that the character he will portray in the movie is different from any role he has taken on previously. He feels there’s an unique facet to Ranveer’s acting ability that has yet to be explored.
As for Don 3, a fresh update from News 18 Showsha suggests that the production is now in its initial stages, known as pre-production.
Preparations for the project will kick off in March of the following year since Farhan and Ranveer have other obligations, such as Ranveer’s involvement in Aditya Dhar’s unnamed movie and his new role as a parent.
Earlier this July, Singh revealed his upcoming project with the director of Uri. The as-yet unnamed movie features a star-studded cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal in lead roles. This significant cinematic production is being jointly produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
More recently, Vikrant has garnered acclaim for portraying a psychopathic killer in Sector 36, with his acting earning rave reviews from both the public and critics. Subsequently, his latest project is The Sabarmati Report, where he stars alongside Raashi Khanna and Ridhi Dogra.
