As a gamer, I couldn’t help but feel my heart pound when the track titled “What Did I Miss?” dropped during the ICEMAN EPISODE 1 livestream on July 4th. The next day, it was officially released, and man, did it take off! Although Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” snatched the top spot, my favorite new tune didn’t disappoint, racking up a staggering 22.6 million streams! I couldn’t believe it when I saw it atop both the Streaming Songs and Digital Song Sales charts – what an incredible achievement!

2025 saw Drake’s first solo single of the year, titled “What Did I Miss?”, making its debut on music charts. This release followed his collaboration with PARTYNEXTDOOR earlier in the year. On Instagram, Drake shared a screenshot showing his song at No. 2, temporarily held back by Warren’s track, expressing his anticipation to take over the top spot soon. The lyrics of “What Did I Miss?” were released just before his three-day headlining performance at the 2025 Wireless Festival in the U.K., where he surprised the audience with appearances from PartyNextDoor, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Giveon, Bryson Tiller, and others.
