Dubai Watch Week Is Bringing Its Horology Forum To Hong Kong This Month

As a seasoned watch enthusiast with a penchant for all things horological, I can hardly contain my excitement for Dubai Watch Week‘s 10th edition Horology Forum in the pulsating city of Hong Kong! Having traveled far and wide to attend various watch events, I can confidently say that this one promises to be nothing short of extraordinary.

For three days, from October 22nd through the 24th, Dubai Watch Week will be holding its tenth Horology Forum in vibrant Hong Kong, which marks their inaugural event in this dynamic urban setting.

Under the title HR.10, the event is scheduled on the 7th floor of Christie’s newly established Asia Pacific headquarters, which is nestled within The Henderson building in Central. For a span of three days, the entire floor will play host to panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions featuring diverse timepieces. These events are open for industry experts, journalists, collectors, and watch enthusiasts to engage with.

2021’s gathering features distinguished orators from the area like Carson Chan, founder of WatchProfessorAcademy.com; Johnathan Chan, a partner at The Horology Club; Ming Thein representing MING; also Mark Cho, creator of The Armoury and an enthusiastic watch collector. Additionally, notable speakers include Tim Mosso, a watch expert from The 1916 Company, and Nicholas Biebuyck, the Heritage Director for TAG Heuer.

Hind Seddiqi, the head of Dubai Watch Week, is thrilled to introduce the Horology Forum to Hong Kong. He described this move as a “major stride” in increasing their global reach towards the heart of the luxury watch market in Asia.

Attendance at the Horology Forum during Dubai Watch Week is open to all, free of charge, but requires online registration in advance. Visit the official event website for further information.
