Dupahiya: Sparsh Shrivastava, Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane and Bhuvan Arora announce Season 2’s return with a quirky video; WATCH

This month, the show “Dupahiya,” starring Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Bhuvan Arora, Sparsh Shrivastava, and Shivani Raghuvanshi, began streaming online. The series was praised for its heartwarming storytelling, and just a few days after the premiere of the first season, the creators announced the upcoming release of “Dupahiya Season 2.”

Today, March 28th, saw Prime Video India post an amusing video on their Instagram account to unveil the arrival of the second season of “Dupahiya”.

In the announcement video, we see Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Bhuvan Arora, Sparsh Shrivastava, and Shivani Raghuvanshi singing “Aave laa Dupahiya.” After that, the scene changes to Bhuvan who exclaims, “What’s coming? It has already arrived. When will it come again?” (roughly translating “Kya aavela aavela, aa to gaya hai aur kitna aayega” from Hindi)

In reply to this, Sparsh Shrivastava says in his unique way, “It’s coming back again, and please don’t add more water to my happiness, you’re a loser.” (This version maintains the original meaning while making it easier for an English-speaking audience to understand.)

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: Gajraj Rao injects some wit into his words, jokingly cautioning, “The language you two are using isn’t a highway, so be mindful, take a break…sing a song…Dupahiya is coming back.” And the entire star-studded cast carries on with their joyous celebration for the arrival of the new season.

The video ended with the statement, “Aavela Dupahiya Season 2 is underway,” and the caption said, “Are we waiting or what? Because we’ve asked for Dupahiya Season 2 already.

Dupahiya Season 2 announced

In the first installment of Dupahiya, Sonam Nair served as the director. This production was brought to life by Salona Bains Joshi and Shubh Shivdasani through their company, Bombay Film Cartel LLP. The duo, Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg, were responsible for creating and writing the script for this nine-episode series. The story unfolds in the peaceful, crime-free village of Dhadakpur, where laughter ensues when a motorbike goes missing.

The show, released on March 7 this month, stars Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Bhuvan Arora, Sparsh Shrivastava, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Yashpal Sharma in prominent roles. It’s now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video and has garnered a great deal of affection from the audience.
