As a seasoned crypto investor and advocate for ethical business practices, I applaud DWF Labs for swiftly addressing the deeply troubling allegations against their partner. The safety and well-being of employees should always be prioritized, regardless of the potential financial implications.
DWF Labs has ended its association with a company that stands accused of administering drugs to a potential employee during a gathering in Hong Kong on the 24th of October.
As an analyst, I’ve uncovered a concerning incident reported by an individual known online as “Hana”. She claims that her partner tried to force her into his hotel room, following allegations that he had drugged her drink.
As I follow Hana’s updates on X, it seems an incident transpired during a work gathering at a local watering hole. During this gathering, while she briefly stepped away to the restroom, a staff member reportedly observed my colleague surreptitiously adding something to her beverage.
Hana asserted that she tried to exchange drinks, but it seems she was stopped from doing so. Feeling lightheaded following her departure from the bar, she alleged that her companion coerced her into going to his hotel, suggesting, “I have a room at The Murray.
Following my observation of the incident, my revulsion intensified as he repeatedly spiked and stirred his drink to ensure the substance was fully dissolved. Thankfully, a waitress intervened in time, saving me from potential harm. However, I’m determined to unmask this predator so that no other young women will suffer at his hands.

Hana informed the local authorities about the incident and posted a video online, stating it allegedly captures a man tampering with her drink. Additionally, she distributed pictures from the police report and surveillance camera recordings related to the event.
DWF Labs’ response
On October 29th, DWF Labs responded to the accusations by stating that they have temporarily relieved the suspected partner of their management duties during the ongoing investigation. They also confirmed their commitment to working alongside authorities as more details emerge in the investigation.
Recent serious accusations have come to light about one of our partners, regarding inappropriate and unacceptable actions. As this incident is being investigated, we’ve made the decision to remove this partner from their managerial and operational responsibilities within DWF Labs, with immediate effect.
DWF Labs said in a statement.
As a crypto investor, I’ve noticed that Eugene Ng, one of the founding partners, has apparently been removed from the company’s team webpage and seems to have deactivated his social media profiles after allegations surfaced, as per a recent post on platform X.
As a researcher, I’d rephrase it as: “I have been tasked with reporting that, following accusations of drink-spiking, DWF Labs has taken the decision to part ways with founding partner Eugene Ng. He is no longer listed on the company’s team page.
