As a gamer, I’ve found that using gems can be one of the most effective strategies when things get tough. These seemingly small items provide passive bonuses that can completely turn the tide in challenging battles.

But crafting and using Gems isn’t always as simple as it seems.

To create your desired gems, you should master the process of collecting necessary resources, making the gems, and enhancing them to boost their power level.

How To Craft & Use Gems

You’ll need to get further into the story to craft Gems.

Once you join forces with Liu Bei’s Volunteer Army in Chapter 1, you will gain entry into the crafting system.

To create anything, you’ll initially have to collect Pyroxene, a fundamental raw material used in the process of making Gems.

In the landscapes of Dynasty Warriors: Origins, you’re likely to find pyroxene, which typically appears as orange crystals in various locations on the map.

While on your journey from one mission to another, feel free to tap on the crystals as you go along. These crystals happen to contain Pyroxene, which you can collect.

As you make your way from one mission to another, don’t forget to tap on the crystals you encounter. They are filled with Pyroxene that you can collect.

After wrapping up a skirmish or major fight, I always find myself drawn back to familiar spots because fresh Pyroxene crystals have reappeared there – making it a rewarding experience to revisit!

You can craft a bunch of Gems at once or take your time to craft them individually.

If you’re aiming for a particular Gem, activating this effect and making it individually could boost your success rate, but be prepared for a potentially longer process.

Each time I duplicate a Gem I’ve already created, the experience points earned go towards boosting the level of my original Gem and enhancing its inherent bonuses passively.

It’s tricky to level up certain Gems because crafting is still random.

With perfect timing using the Eyes of the Sacred Bird ability, you can limit your choices to just three gems, significantly increasing your chances of enhancing the gem you desire.

Wait for the outcome to occur first, then create each option individually to increase your chances of enhancing the gem.

Even though you can only equip one Gem at a time, each gives you a distinct edge in battle.

In different scenarios, choosing the right Gem is crucial. For instance, if you’re facing multiple opponents in battle, the Wellspring Gem’s healing abilities could save the day.

If you’re up against a heavy hitter, the Ascendance Gem’s auto-block could turn things around.

You can throw on your Gem in the Battle Prep menu and review your next mission’s strategy.

As you’re limited to carrying just one Gem at once, pick the one that aligns with your present objectives and fighting approach.
