Established in 1983, Omega Cinema Props was founded by Krause, who expanded it into one of the industry’s most significant independent prop houses over three decades. Together with his wife, Doris, Krause traveled globally to gather unique and hard-to-find set decorations. Their carefully amassed collection continues to play a vital role in film and TV productions.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Krause honorably served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, participating in the grueling 82-day Battle of Okinawa. Following his military service, he enrolled at Pepperdine University to pursue design studies, and he embarked on his professional journey with NBC in 1951.
