Eduardo Noriega, Oscar Jaenada, Alexandra Masangkay Join ‘Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’ Third Season

As a dedicated fan of The Walking Dead franchise, I am absolutely thrilled about the diverse and talented cast AMC Networks has assembled for the third season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon! Having followed the careers of Eduardo Noriega, Oscar Jaenada, Alexandra Masangkay, Candela Saitta, and Hugo Arbues, I can confidently say that their addition to the show will undoubtedly bring a unique flair to the post-apocalyptic world.

AMC Networks recently announced their initial Spanish cast for the upcoming third season of “The Walking Dead,” which is currently being filmed in Spain, featuring the character of “Daryl Dixon.”

Eduardo Noriega, Oscar Jaenada, and Alexandra Masangkay have been announced as series regulars, joining Candela Saitta and Hugo Arbues in recurring roles for the upcoming season of “The Walking Dead” spinoff. This follows the news that Norman Reedus’ character, Georgia zombie apocalypse survivor-turned-Europe backpacker Daryl Dixon, will be making an appearance in Spain for season 3.

Instead of the initial and subsequent second season being set in France as previously shown, there’s a change now. Noriega, who has appeared in movies like ‘Thesis’, ‘Open Your Eyes’, ‘The Wolf’, ‘The Devil’s Backbone’, and ‘Vantage Point’, is associated with roles outside of France.

Jaenada boasts a list of credits that features “Camarón: When Flamenco Became Legend” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”. Masangkay started her career in film with “1898: The Last of the Philippines” and “The Platform”, and has also been seen in “Código Emperador” and more recently, “Valley of Shadows”.

Production for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is underway in Madrid and other Spanish locations, providing a post-apocalyptic setting. In the current season, Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier persist in their quest to get back home to their loved ones, despite the fact that their journey leads them deeper into unknown territory, where the landscape constantly changes and conditions remain uncertain as they observe the effects of the Walker outbreak.

I can’t wait to dive back into the world of the Walking Dead franchise spin-off when its second season premieres in the United States on September 29, exclusively on AMC and AMC+.

2025 will see the grand premiere of our beloved show’s third season! I can hardly contain my excitement, knowing that it’s being overseen by none other than Scott M. Gimple, David Zabel (our showrunner), Andrew Lincoln (a.k.a. Rick Grimes himself), Norman Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival, and Steve Squillante. Additionally, Silvia Aráez and Jesús de la Vega from Ánima Stillking have joined the team as executive producers this season! I can hardly wait to witness the magic they’ll bring to our favorite post-apocalyptic world!
