Finally, Eem Triplin’s highly anticipated debut album is out! At only 23 years old, this Philadelphia rapper has been methodically making waves in the industry, delivering catchy pluggnb tunes and carving out his unique niche with tracks like “AWKWARD FREESTYLE,” “JUST FRIENDS ?” and “LOUIS V.” After building his reputation over the past two years as an artist to watch, Triplin is now steering his own ship on his first full-length studio album. This album serves as a hazy yet lively snapshot of his artistic journey that’s still unfolding.
After quite some time, I want to assure fans that I’ve been diligently pouring effort into this upcoming album. In a recent statement, I shared that I’m thrilled for the world to finally listen to the fantastic work we’ve been creating in the studio with friends like Dahi, Matt, Charlie, and others over the past year or so. This project will unveil aspects of me that I haven’t disclosed before and present a new facet of my sound that I haven’t shown to people yet. I believe it reflects my growth as an artist, and I hope listeners can discern this evolution when they tune in.
The album titled “Melody of a Memory” boasts 13 tracks and is primarily created by Dahi (previously known as DJ Dahi), with input from Matthew Castellanos and Charlie Myles, who often collaborates with Eem. This LP clocks in at approximately half an hour. The main hits include “FIJI” featuring Cruza, “MISS ME,” and “CRAZY H*ES.” Additionally, Ty Dolla $ign lends his voice to the track “Out Miami,” which was produced by Clams Casino.
