Summary
- Elden Ring Nightreign is proving to be a much tougher time for FromSoft fans than they might have expected.
- This is mostly due to the game being built around three players, with solo play not exactly encouraged.
- Nuts to that, though, as one skilled player has already managed to solo the final boss.
It appears that Elden Ring has returned swiftly, given that Nightreign was just released a few days ago, and now we’re witnessing exceptionally talented gamers performing astonishing acts, such as one player managing to defeat the final boss single-handedly while playing the Executor character.
In a FromSoft game like Elden Ring: Nightreign, players didn’t go in expecting an easy ride. Despite knowing this ahead of time, there has been widespread agreement since the launch of Nightreign that it is more challenging than expected, largely due to its emphasis on online multiplayer and unique battle royale elements.
After players successfully navigate the matchmaking hurdles and locate a team for gameplay, they encounter considerable difficulties in Elden Ring that might lead one to question their skill level. However, it’s important to note that not every player experiences this challenge; some have already displayed remarkable abilities.
A subtle hint about Elden Ring Nightreign’s boss ahead – we’ll only disclose its name without delving into specifics:
Minor spoilers for Elden Ring Nightreign below, as we’ll unveil the name of the boss but refrain from providing details.
Elden Ring Is Back Baby, As A Skilled Player Has Already Solo’d The Final Boss
Who Needs Let Me Solo Her?
According to PC Gamer, YouTuber Ongbal, known for their exceptional abilities in past FromSoftware games like Dark Souls and Sekiro, has recently accomplished something remarkable in Elden Ring Nightreign: they’ve successfully defeated the game’s final boss, Heolstor, all by themselves.
As a fellow gaming enthusiast, let me share my admiration for the impressive feat of Ongball. Unlike many others who find themselves stalled at the matchmaking screen or grappling with the Nightlords’ early challenges, Ongball has already conquered the final boss in a game intended for a trio. A significant part of this victory seems to stem from Ongball’s choice of character – The Executor. Given my familiarity with Sekiro’s gameplay, I recognize that The Executor’s parry-centric style is key to his triumphs.
It’s even more remarkable given that FromSoft has pledged to release an update for Nightreign, intended to simplify solo gameplay. Apparently, Ongball wasn’t aware of all the commotion surrounding it.
In Heolstor, it takes an impressive display of power to conquer the team with only three members, as it’s notoriously difficult even with other players involved. Ongball came close but took some damage; however, I have no doubt we’ll witness a victory without any harm soon, either from them or another skilled player. Greetings once more, Elden Ring enthusiasts!
