Elden Ring Nightreign’s Raider Hero brings hard-hitting strength to the roster

As a dedicated gamer, I’m thrilled about the latest video release from FromSoftware for Elden Ring: Nightreign. This time, the spotlight is on the gritty new Raider class joining our Hero lineup. With their robust and intimidating appearance, it’s clear they’ve got the chops to take some heavy hits before dishing out devastating counterattacks. They’ll be the sixth hero added to Elden Ring: Nightreign’s roster, and I can hardly wait to get my hands on them!

This week, FromSoftware posted a new Elden Ring Nightreign video on their social media platforms, featuring the Raider character. The Raider stands out among other Hero classes due to his aggressive bulkiness. With a savage Viking appearance and brandishing a formidable two-handed axe, the Raider has abilities that enable him to withstand enemy attacks. Additionally, he seems to possess a headbutt move that fortifies him, absorbing damage and attacks before causing foes to stagger with his powerful skull ram.

It appears that the Raider’s most intriguing skill involves summoning a runic stone from the ground, which serves as a protective pillar for allies to hide behind and launch attacks. This pillar can be used to leap onto opponents and execute powerful falling attacks, but it also seems that you can gain some respite by seeking shelter on the elevated pillar, distancing yourself momentarily from your enemies.

In an exciting departure from traditional FromSoftware gameplay, Elden Ring: Nightreign looks set to break new ground, and so far, it’s shaping up quite well. Keep an eye on this space as we countdown to the game’s release in May 2025 for further updates and news about Elden Ring: Nightreign.
