As an avid Elder Scrolls Online player with ESO Plus membership, I’m thrilled about the 500 storage slots exclusively for my stackable in-game decorations – The Furnishing Vault has truly elevated my gaming experience!
In response to repeated demands from fans of Elder Scrolls Online housing, the Furnishing Vault has been incorporated into the game as part of Update 46. This new addition is exclusively accessible for ESO Plus members seeking a tidier living space in Tamriel. The vault boasts an expansive capacity of 500 slots, making organizing furniture across multiple homes effortless. In essence, this convenient feature simplifies the process of managing furnishings by allowing them to be stacked. Let’s delve deeper into this valuable addition and explore its practical applications.
What Is the Furnishing Vault in Elder Scrolls Online?
The Furnishing Vault is an exclusive storage area for furniture, accessible only to ESO Plus members. It lets you store up to 500 distinct pieces of furniture, with each item being able to be stacked up to 65,535 times. In essence, this allows players to potentially save over 32 million unique furnishing items, making it an extremely space-efficient choice for decorators and collectors.
The vault serves to minimize household mess and streamline item organization within all player-owned dwellings. After acquiring it from the ESO Plus Deals area in the Crown Store, you can position the vault anywhere among your homes, and access it directly via the Housing Editor, regardless of its actual location within the home.
How To Claim the Furnishing Vault
To obtain the Furnishing Vault, head over to the Crown Store, either by selecting the ESO Plus tab or finding it in the Featured section. Alternatively, you can use the search bar and type “Furnishing Vault”. When you locate the vault, click on it and then hit “Confirm” to claim it at no cost. Now, you can access your Furnishing Vault via your Housing Editor.
How To Use the Furnishing Vault in Elder Scrolls Online
After claiming the Furnishing Vault and placing it, you can access the vault in two ways:
- Interact directly with the placed vault furnishing inside any of your homes.
- Use the “Retrieve” tab in the Housing Editor, which allows you to move items between your homes and the vault.
When your ESO Plus subscription ends, you’ll still have the ability to pull out stored items from the vault. However, until the subscription is renewed, no new decorative pieces can be put into the vault.
Limitations and Storage Rules
While the Furnishing Vault is incredibly generous in storage space, not all items are eligible:
- Stolen furnishings
- Gemmable furnishings (those acquired from Crown Crates)
- Grandmaster Crafting Stations
Because it’s not possible to keep these items inside the Furnishing Vault, you’ll have to handle them individually. The Furnishing Vault is accessible exclusively when you’re inside one of your residences.
