The founding vocalist of legendary English rock band Black Sabbath, Osbourne, enjoyed a broad music journey with the group, culminating in a highly successful solo career selling over 100 million records globally. He was honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Black Sabbath in 2006, followed by another recognition in 2024 for his outstanding work as a solo artist.

As an ardent fan, I echo the sentiments shared by Duran Duran on Instagram about the iconic English figure, Ozzy Osbourne. Just like them, I find it challenging to express anything about Ozzy without a hint of his distinctive Brummie accent. It’s hard to envision a universe devoid of him; Ozzy has been an unparalleled source of joy, humor, and raw power for the world. His life, filled with numerous chapters, is a testament to the fact that he was a cat who had more than nine lives. Here’s a heartfelt thanks, Ozzy, for the incredible journey you’ve taken us on. Love from another fellow Brummie.

As a devoted fan, I was thrilled to share a moment with Ozzy Osbourne last fall during his solo induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It was an honor to celebrate his remarkable career, especially in light of his recent passing. Ozzy truly embodied the essence of rock ‘n’ roll, continuing to perform until the very end, as we witnessed at his “Back to the Beginning” concert. My deepest sympathies go out to Sharon Jack Kelly and the entire Osbourne family during this difficult time. My heart is with you.
