As a cinephile with a penchant for timeless literature adaptations, I can hardly contain my excitement at the upcoming release of Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights! With its stellar cast led by the captivating Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, this adaptation promises to be a cinematic tour de force.
Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights is getting a 2026 release date.
The movie is scheduled to premiere in theaters on February 13, 2026, distributed by Warner Bros. It stars Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff. Additionally, Hong Chau, Alison Oliver, and Shazad Latif are also part of the cast for this Emily Brontë adaptation.
Back in 1847, I stumbled upon a captivating tale penned down, revolving around the tumultuous bond between Catherine and Heathcliff. Their connection, marked by intense emotion and vengeance, unfolded after we crossed paths within the walls of Wuthering Heights.
In addition to handling the writing and direction, Fennell is also involved in production alongside Robbie and their production company LuckyChap, as well as MRC.
Also set to hit theaters in February 2026 is an untitled Marvel feature and Scream 7.
