As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for music, I can’t help but be thrilled about Joe Walsh’s eighth annual VetsAid concert! Having attended several concerts in my time, I must say that this one stands out due to its noble cause and stellar lineup. Eric Church, Kool & The Gang, and Toto are some of my personal favorites, and having them all under one roof is a dream come true for me.
Joe Walsh has gathered Eric Church, Kool & the Gang, and Toto for his eight consecutive VetsAid benefit show.
The performance by Walsh is scheduled for November 11th, happening at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be part of VetsAid 2024, making its comeback on the East Coast after its debut in Northern Virginia back in 2017. This event holds a special place in my heart as it’s a homecoming for me and my wife, Marjorie, who hails from Rosedale, Queens. She’s not just my partner but also a co-founder of VetsAid, and her connection to this event runs deep. Her father was a WWII Air Force veteran and Purple Heart recipient – a true hero whose bravery is honored through this concert.
As a passionate gamer, I’m pumped about VetsAid 2024! It’s not just an event, it’s a celebration of family, friends, and faith. I’m paying tribute to my wife’s family, especially those in her hometown, Queens, who have dedicated their lives to service.
Ticket sales kick off this coming Friday, starting at a price point of $54.50. The total earnings will be donated to several charities supporting our veterans. Previous artists who have performed for VetsAid include Don Henley, Ringo Starr, James Taylor, Sheryl Crow, Chris Stapleton, Eddie Vedder, Keith Urban, the Black Keys, and Gary Clark Jr.
