In ‘I Met a Pine Spirit,’ Natalie encourages Azusa to get married and proposes visiting a matchmaking gathering in Tazine, a town facing hardships. Azusa, along with Halkara and Flatorte, find the event underwhelming but later cross paths with Misjantie, a spirit of marriage whose temple is in peril.
To preserve it, she suggests that Falfa and Shalsha perform a symbolic wedding. With Beelzebub’s approval, the ceremony takes place in attendance of guests from previous episodes. Later on, Misjantie moves her temple close to Azusa’s village. Natalie visits the new location for prayer, but she chooses to remain unmarried.
In episode 8 of I’ve Been Killing Slimes Season 2, Laika, finding the chill too much, proposes a sun-soaked getaway. Azusa and their companions subsequently head to a balmy southern shoreline. However, they discover that the water is teeming with jellyfish, rendering it unsafe for swimming.
Instead of lounging on the sandy beach, they’ll encounter Cureina, a melancholic girl sketching haunting designs in the sand. This somber figure turns out to be a spirit of jellyfish who vows to cleanse the waters – but only under one condition: they must serve as her models for art.
