Escape from Tarkov: First in Line quest walkthrough

Escape from Tarkov: First in Line quest walkthrough

As a seasoned survivor of the apocalyptic wasteland that is Tarkov, I’ve come to appreciate the small victories amidst the chaos. One such victory is completing Therapist’s ‘First in Line’ quest, a task so straightforward even a novice could manage it.

Advancing through the Therapist’s assignments in Escape from Tarkov initially places you at the front of the queue, and this comprehensive quest guide will lead you, step by step, not only through Ground Zero but also beyond.

How to complete First in Line

To complete first in line, it’s quite straightforward. You just need to find the Emercom station at Ground Zero, and then give them any three medical supplies you discovered during the search.

Similar to several initial Ground Zero missions, it’s possible to accomplish the first task without surviving the raid itself. This makes it incredibly accessible and ideal for beginners!

As a gamer, I’ve learned that essential medkits aren’t exclusive to Ground Zero; they can pop up on any map. Sometimes, all I might find is a handful of bandages, which isn’t exactly a game-changer in a heated firefight.

Where to find the Emercom Station

The Emercom Station can be found directly across from the Unity Credit Back on Ground Zero, which is at the termination of the primary road. It’s situated near the Terragroup building and on the side opposite Nakatani.

Just outside the building, you’ll spot the location easily with a medical tent positioned before the Checkpoint. Often, you may even appear close by or right within this region, making it possible to finish this specific task without any additional steps!

In case you find yourself starting at a distant part of the map, your wisest choice would be to navigate towards the subterranean passage using any of the large pathways or by entering one of the primary structures.

1. This location offers protection from the congested viewpoints along the main road, plus it’s simpler to move around since you’ll be walking in a straight path with fewer diversions.

Instead of exiting the Terragroup building to reach ground level, consider making your way up through Skyside if possible. This route is closer to Emercom Station and usually has fewer players, making it a more convenient choice for you.

As I’m stepping out of Skyside, I’d better take a left turn to find my way to Emercom or Union Credit Bank.

Where to find medicine items

In the realm of Tarkov, you can locate various medical supplies. However, acquiring them isn’t necessarily the challenge; rather, the real hurdle lies in successfully exiting the raid with those items to ensure they remain “found in raid” status.

If you perish while holding an item marked “Found in Raid,” it will no longer be acceptable for this specific mission. To efficiently complete this task without risking death, I recommend using your personal Scavenger, as they frequently carry loot categorized as “Found in Raid.” This approach minimizes the potential risks.

Typically, it’s recommended to search places such as medicine bags, sports bags, or any Scavenger you eliminate, as well as unattended loot near medical zones. The tent in front of the Emercom Station is an ideal spot to begin, since it houses a medcase and may have additional loose items for you to discover.

As a gamer, I can tell you that venturing to the USEC/Medical Camp on Woods or the Crack House on Customs are alternative routes for completing tasks swiftly, though Ground Zero offers plenty of choices to explore on its own as well.

To avoid complications later, kindly refrain from submitting any Salewa kits or Morphine injectors found during raids. These items will be crucial for upcoming Therapist missions such as the Shortage quest, which follows directly after First in Line. Specifically, the Salewas are essential for the Shortage quest.
