As a seasoned survivor of Tarkov’s treacherous landscapes, I must admit, the latest Gunsmith Special Order quest has me quite intrigued! The M4A1 build is no walk in the park, but it’s a challenge I relish.
As an enthusiastic supporter of Escape from Tarkov, I’m thrilled about the latest Supply and Demand end-of-wipe event! This fresh update has introduced a captivating questline for Mechanic, and as I embark on this new adventure, the ‘Gunsmith Special Order’ task is my first challenge to conquer.
To construct a custom-made M4A1, here’s a detailed guide and step-by-step process provided below!
Gunsmith Special Order M4A1 build
Parts needed
Based on a standard M4A1 purchased from Peacekeeper LL1, here is a list of the components you will require for purchase:
- Magpul M-LOK 4.1 inch rail
- AR-15 Magpul MOE SL carbine length M-LOK handguard
- Zenit RK-1 tactical foregrip
- AR-15 Daniel Defense Enhanced Collapsible Buttstock (Black)
- EOTech XPS3-0 holographic sight
- AR-15 HK Ergo PSG-1 style pistol grip
- AR-15 AWC PSR 5.56×45 muzzle brake
In this project, it’s crucial that you include the EOTech XPS3-0 holographic sight because it’s explicitly mentioned in the quest. But remember, there are multiple approaches to meet the other necessities for the build.
To meet your requirements, the weapon should have no more than a combined recoil of 300 (both vertical and horizontal) and a minimum ergonomics score of 70. Finding suitable combinations is challenging, but using a grip like the Ergo PSG-1 can significantly assist in meeting these standards.
As a gamer, I splurged roughly 500,000 Rubles on building my setup, excluding the initial cost of the M4A1. A blend of goods from the Traders and the Flea Market made up my investment. If you’ve maxed out your traders, you could potentially save some cash, but you might need to adjust the items based on what’s available in the market.
If you happen to own an XPS3-0, you could stand to save quite a bit of money, given the surge in both availability and demand for this model on the second-hand market.
