On Tuesday, SkyShowtime – the combined streaming service of Comcast and Paramount Global in Europe – announced the arrival of an advertisement-free premium subscription option. This new plan will join their current offerings which include the “Standard With Ads” plan and the previously known “Standard Plus.
SkyShowtime Premium is set to debut on October 29, coinciding with its release in multiple markets worldwide such as Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden. This simultaneous launch follows the introduction of the ad-tier earlier this year.
Pricing for the Premium plan starts from €8.99 per month ($9.87) but will vary from market to market, compared with the Standard Plan whose cost starts from €5.99 ($6.57), and the Standard With Ads plan starting from €3.99 ($4.38). The prices of the existing plans will not change.
The Premium subscription offers an ad-free viewing experience with access to all Hollywood blockbusters, new series, exclusive content, and local originals from SkyShowtime. This top-tier plan takes your enjoyment to the next level by improving your watching experience. Moreover, you can stream on as many as five devices at once, ensuring everyone in the family can watch their preferred shows and movies uninterrupted.
Furthermore, Premium subscribers have the option to select up to one hundred pieces of content for offline watching, and can download a total of thirty feature films per account at any point. Additionally, the Premium subscription grants access to an expanding collection of well-known SkyShowtime titles available in 4K Ultra High Definition for the first time.
