As a seasoned gamer who’s seen more than a few thrillers and survival dramas, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and apprehension for Lifetime’s upcoming movie, “Buried Alive and Survived.” The storyline, inspired by a true-life account, promises to deliver a gripping tale that’s sure to keep me on the edge of my seat.
Eva Marcille, previously known for her roles in “America’s Next Top Model” and “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” along with Tyler Lepley, who has appeared in shows like “Harlem” and “P-Valley,” will feature in Lifetime’s “Buried Alive and Survived.” This project is part of the network’s autumn lineup of Ripped from the Headlines Movies, which are based on real-life stories.
I, a determined gamer, am set to bring Alicia to life in the small-screen adaptation of Nigel Campbell’s gripping tale. Currently, I grace the screen as Marilyn “Madam” DeVille in BET’s All the Queen’s Men, but this time, I face a chilling challenge. My character, Alicia, finds herself in a harrowing predicament when her ex-husband Victor, played by Lepley, is released from prison.
The movie titled “Buried Alive and Survived” is created for Lifetime by Swirl Films. Abbey Sibucao, Ron Robinson, and Eric Tomosunas act as executive producers, while Manu Boyer (Girl in the Basement) takes on the director’s role for the screenplay written by Gregory Small and Richard Blaney.
Buried Alive and Survived premieres on Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
