‘Raid the Cage’ (Season 2)

The game show titled “Unlock the Enclosure” hosted by Damon Wayans Jr. and Jeannie Mai, is a spin-off of an Israeli television series. After its debut on CBS on October 13, 2023, the show has been incredibly popular, with approximately 2 million viewers tuning in for each episode until the first season ended on January 17, 2024. A year later, the show is back for another round, presenting fresh challenges to the competitors who strive to win prizes by racing against time.

In the upcoming season of “Raid the Cage,” two teams compete by rushing to gather prizes from a container called The Cage, which shuts after a specific duration. If contestants answer trivia questions correctly, additional time is added to the clock, benefiting their team’s chances of victory. The game concludes following three rounds, with the team accumulating the most money moving on to the final round for an even bigger prize on Paramount+, starting January 8th.

‘Danger Force’ (Season 3)

As a devoted movie buff, let me tell you that “Danger Force” is an offshoot of the popular Nickelodeon comedy show “Henry Danger,” masterminded by Christopher J. Nowak. After three seasons, this spinoff has had its ups and downs with viewers who’ve grown older since the original series aired. However, the third season of this series has truly shone in terms of quality, with each episode scoring eight or higher on IMDb.

In Danger Force Season 3, which will premiere on Paramount+ on January 15th, Captain Man and Schwoz bring aboard Miles, Mika, Chapa, and Bose – four budding superheroes – to assist the younger generation at Swellview Academy in their journey towards becoming superheroes.

‘Matlock’ (Seasons 1-9)

The long-running crime mystery series called “Matlock,” which aired from 1986 to 1995, was created by Dean Hargrove. In this show, Andy Griffith played the role of Ben Matlock, an accomplished lawyer specializing in criminal defense who carries a high price tag due to his exceptional skills. He consistently takes on intricate cases and is relentless in his pursuit of justice for his clients, even if it means overcoming numerous obstacles along the way.

It’s thought that his character is based on the renowned lawyer Bobby Lee Cook, often called Georgia’s top criminal defense attorney. CBS has just revived the show, with Jennie Snyder Urman taking charge. Regardless, all nine seasons of the original Matlock series will be streamable on Paramount+ from January 15.

‘Watson’ (Season 1 Premiere)

As a passionate cinephile, I’m eagerly anticipating the upcoming television series titled “Watson,” crafted by Craig Sweeny. This series is rooted in the legendary works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and serves as the second CBS adaptation of Sherlock Holmes tales, following the footsteps of “Elementary.”

In this captivating medical mystery drama, Morris Chestnut steps into the shoes of Watson, forging a profound connection with the enigmatic Sherlock Holmes.
