In an exclusive chat with TopMob, Aamir Khan and his daughter Ira Khan discussed mental health. During the conversation, Aamir shared his initial encounter with therapeutic help, explaining that he didn’t consider it traditional therapy but rather, a form of counseling.

Aamir explained, “As Reena and I were drifting apart, we sought help from a marriage counselor for approximately one and a half years. This marked my initial encounter with therapy and counseling.

In simpler terms, the actor recalled that he strongly disagreed with it. He told Reena, “I don’t want to share my feelings with a stranger, let alone tell them about our relationship or what my personal thoughts are.” This means that he didn’t feel comfortable revealing his emotions and personal connections to someone he was not familiar with.
