Notably, Ranbir Kapoor, who stars as the main character, is eagerly looking forward to embarking on an adventure filled with bike heists for “Dhoom 4”.
According to the source, Ranbir appears to be the perfect fit for Dhoom 4, as the character has been crafted with his unique charm and character traits in mind. The upcoming Dhoom movie is being developed with global action standards in mind, which means the visual style and storytelling will deviate significantly from the established YRF Spy Universe.
Yash Raj Films (YRF) intends to kick off Dhoom 4 production featuring Ranbir Kapoor in April 2026. Ayan Mukerji is a strong contender for the director’s role, and he will likely delve into pre-production following the release of War 2 on Independence Day 2025. The movie is scheduled for a 2027 premiere, with the goal to complete filming by the end of 2026.
Currently, Ranbir is filming Love And War under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Once they wrap up production, he will switch to complete Ramayana 2. Upon fulfilling these two projects, he will embark on Dhoom 4 starting from Summer 2026.
