It appears as though our pleas for Adnan Sami’s return to Bollywood must have reached the heavens, as the song “Bhar Do Jholi Meri” from the 2015 hit film Bajrangi Bhaijaan – a tune that he sang – is now echoing once more. According to our exclusive source, it has been revealed that Adnani Sami will be crooning a heartfelt ballad in the forthcoming movie titled Kasoor. Accompanying him in this musical collaboration is the accomplished vocalist Payal Dev, under the direction of music maestro Javed Mohsin. The upcoming number promises to star Aftab Shivdasani, Urvashi Rautela, and Punjabi chart-topper Jassie Gill.
According to our source, “Kasoor,” a production by Asif Shaikh and presented by Bablu Aziz, is helmed by director Glen Barretto. The story, screenplay, and dialogues were written by Mudassar Aziz. Next week, the film’s second shooting schedule will commence on a grand set built in a Mumbai studio, featuring a special song as its focus.

In a different take, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was jointly written and helmed by Kabir Khan. This film ranks seventh among all Indian movies and fourth for Hindi films in terms of earnings. The cast includes Harshaali Malhotra making her debut, as well as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who played significant roles.
For those unfamiliar, the film sequel named Pawan Putra Bhaijaan is currently in production, with its script already finalized. Back in 2022, renowned writer KV Vijayendra Prasad shared with TopMob that this sequel will continue the story from where the first part left off, rather than being a separate or spiritual reinterpretation.
