Akshay Kumar is known for his tireless work ethic as one of the busiest actors around. Already this year, he’s given us three films: Sky Force, Kesari Chapter 2, and Housefull 5. After wrapping up the comedy on a cruise ship, the superstar will next grace our screens in Jolly LLB, which is highly anticipated for its release in 2025.
In an interview with TopMob, Akshay Kumar revealed that his upcoming courtroom-comedy movie, Jolly LLB 3, is inspired by real events. Akshay shared, “Parts 1 and 2 contain true incidents, so part 3 also has some real occurrences.” When asked about any details on the film, Akshay joked, “Would you like me to tell you the entire story?” (smiling). He also mentioned that he and Arshad Warsi are reuniting for the third installment, and they had a fantastic time working together during production.

Akshay mentioned that he and Arshad Warsi will be teaming up, which means Jolly 1 and Jolly 2 will also be joining forces. He shared that working with him was an absolute blast, praising his delightful personality and terrific sense of humor.
Furthermore, Akshay Kumar shared insights about working with director and screenwriter Subhash Kapoor and expressed his admiration for him. He stated that he had wrapped up Jolly LLB 3 in an impressive 2.5 months, adding “Everyone knows what a talented writer he is. He creates films solely through his writing skills and pens such beautiful dialogues. I’m a big fan of his work. It was wonderful to complete it together.”
Jolly LLB 3 set to release on September 19, 2025
For those not familiar, the long-awaited new movie from the Jolly LLB series will be out in theaters on September 19th. This film is directed by Subhash Kapoor, who was also in charge of the first two installments. In the original Jolly LLB, Arshad Warsi starred as the main character, while Akshay Kumar took on that role in the second movie. In this third installment, both actors face off in a riveting and humorous courtroom conflict.
In addition to the main cast, the film features Saurabh Shukla playing a comical judge role, alongside actors Amrita Rao, Huma Qureshi, and Annu Kapoor.
