As a devoted admirer of the captivating world of Bollywood, I find myself deeply moved by Sharvari Wagh’s heartwarming journey and her unwavering inspiration drawn from the enchanting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. From mimicking her idol in front of mirrors adorned with dupattas, to emulating her grace on the silver screen, it is awe-inspiring to witness such dedication and passion.
2024 has been a significant year for actress Sharvari Wagh, showcasing impressive performances in Munjya, Vedaa, and Maharaj. Next up, she’s gearing up to assume the role of a spy in Yash Raj Films Alpha alongside Alia Bhatt. In an exclusive interview with TopMob, Wagh shared that she used to imitate Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, with people often commenting, “You resemble her.” Additionally, Wagh reminisced about an unforgettable fangirl encounter with the actress from Guru.
When asked who the actress from Munjya used to imitate as a child, Wagh replied, “I often tried to copy Aishwarya Rai Ma’am because we had similar eye colors. As I grew up, people would comment that I looked like her. I thoroughly enjoyed watching all her movies; she is stunningly beautiful and an exceptional actress.
Ever since I watched her movies, I’ve found myself at home, donning my mother’s collection of dupattas, reenacting scenes in front of the mirror, feeling inspired by none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Her films have held a special place in my heart then and they continue to do so now.

When asked if she had ever encountered Aishwarya Rai and shared her feelings about it, she admitted, ‘I got the opportunity to meet her, but I didn’t have the nerve to discuss my experience. I was star-struck and it was a significant moment for me, so all I could do was express that I am a huge fan.’ (Paraphrased)
