As an ardent fan, I am absolutely thrilled to see Sharvari’s meteoric rise in Bollywood! From her debut in Bunty Aur Babli 2 to her recent stint in Munjya, and now being a part of YRF’s Spy Universe alongside the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, and Jr. NTR – it’s like I’m witnessing a dream come true!
Sharvari, who first appeared in Bollywood with Bunty Aur Babli 2 last year, has garnered attention following her role in this year’s horror-comedy, Munjya. Now, she’s set to appear in the upcoming film, Alpha, which is associated with Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe alongside Alia Bhatt. Lately, Sharvari shared her thoughts on joining the YRF Spy Universe, a franchise known for featuring stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Deepika Padukone.
In an exclusive chat with TopMob, Sharvari joyfully revealed her anticipation to join both Maddock Films’ horror-comedy world and Yash Raj Films’ spy universe in her acting journey. The actress from Munjya gushed about feeling awestruck when considering them as some of the “most prominent franchises in Bollywood”.
Sharvari stated that she might be the “youngest actress” to have acted in not one but two worlds (YRF spy universe being one of them). Regarding the YRF spy universe, she also noted that it boasts support from major stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Jr. NTR, and now herself is a part of this universe. The host then brought up these names, including Sharvari, as members of the YRF spy universe.
In response, the Alpha Star expressed, “Taking credit for associating myself with these individuals carries a significant burden. I am thrilled about this chance, as I mentioned earlier, because I aim to put in my absolute best effort – that’s what truly occupies my thoughts right now.
Regarding commercial films, Sharvari shared that producers see her as someone they have faith in, considering it their primary confirmation or validation. The actress herself admitted that upon returning home, she always feels reassured that she’s on the right path.
Sharvari mentioned that her parents aren’t connected to the Hindi movie world, and she doesn’t understand the inner workings or strategies of Bollywood. The 27-year-old actress also shared that she has a sense of comfort whenever she receives a new role.
Sharvari kicked off her acting journey with Kabir Khan’s war-themed television series, The Forgotten Army: In the Pursuit of Freedom, which debuted in 2020. Previously, she has been involved in films like Maharaj and Vedaa. In Alpha, Sharvari shares screen time with Alia as they portray super spies in YRF Spy Universe’s inaugural female-led production.
