Sivakarthikeyan and his team recently had an interview with TopMob. During this special discussion, the actor was questioned if he will make a brief appearance in the upcoming movie “Coolie,” starring Rajinikanth, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. This question arose following a photo that became popular online.
As you may have heard, I was asked about this matter. To clear things up, let me share that I did indeed visit the filming location recently. You see, I frequently cross paths with Lokesh, as we are both part of the same circle of friends. In fact, producer Arun Vishwas, associate screenwriter Chandru, Madonne Ashwin, Lokesh, and myself often spend a good deal of our time together.
The actor stated that he frequently visits the Coolie movie set since it’s situated across from his residence. He mentioned that when he returns home, he plans to go there. His only tie to Coolie is that it’s his favorite film of his Thalaivar (leader or boss). He clarified that he himself isn’t in the movie and asked not to spread any rumors regarding his role in it.

The upcoming film “Coolie,” featuring Rajinikanth as the main character, is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and promises to be an action-packed extravaganza. Initially announced this year with a title preview, it’s expected to premier in cinemas during the Summer of 2025.
Besides the lead actor (Superstar), this movie features prominent actors such as Nagarjuna Akkineni and Upendra Rao in significant roles.
