As a seasoned movie enthusiast with years of experiencing various cinematic trends and clashes, I find Kartik Aaryan’s perspective on the upcoming Diwali box office battle between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again to be refreshingly positive and gracious. In an industry where competition can often breed tension, it’s heartening to see an artist like Kartik embrace the idea of two highly-anticipated films sharing the same release date as a festival for moviegoers.
Currently, Kartik Aaryan is busy preparing for the launch of his eagerly anticipated movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which features Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri. This horror-comedy is set to debut on Diwali but will compete with Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. In an exclusive interview with TopMob, Kartik described the situation as a ‘festival’, suggesting his excitement about the clash.
In a recent exchange at TopMob’s Masterclass, I was asked about the impending confrontation between my movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Ajay Devgn’s film, Singham Again.
On this occasion of Diwali, we’re blessed with not one, but two movies gracing our screens! While Singham Again falls under the action genre, our production leans more towards horror-comedy. As a movie enthusiast, this festive season offers us an exciting choice that is quite rare in today’s industry.
He went on to express, “It’s common knowledge that many movies don’t make it to theaters. However, this Diwali, two highly-anticipated films are set to premiere. I’m looking forward to watching these films myself. I truly hope you’ll join me in catching ours as well. Both productions have great potential for success.
Kartik continued by saying, “I don’t believe they are competing against each other.” He then playfully added, “I’m focusing more on Rooh Baba and Manjulika, not that I think there’s a competition between these two movies.
It seems unfair or incorrect for there to be a comparison, as I am a big fan of the franchise. I don’t feel comfortable discussing or even being associated with anything that might put them in the same category.
