Nani underlined that the North-South divide doesn’t exist among moviegoers, who value both Hindi and South Indian films equally. When questioned about whether he believed his statements and Arshad’s were misinterpreted and caused him pain, Nani admitted that he certainly felt hurt whenever people failed to understand or reacted negatively. Yet, he pointed out that there isn’t much that can be done in such situations. Nani elaborated on the issue by explaining that interviews often lose their original context due to selective quoting. He voiced his annoyance over how social media users frequently rush to judgments without considering the full context. Nani proposed that if traditional media ceased emphasizing these issues, it would address a substantial portion of the problem.

Nani himself acknowledged that his response to the matter wasn’t perfectly phrased and he understood the importance of owning up to mistakes. He agreed with Arshad Warsi having his own viewpoint, but felt the way it was expressed could’ve been kinder.
