The Cypress sisters exhibit a touch of disorderliness, as Scrofano labels Dana as “a hot mess.” However, this peculiar new routine in their daily lives presents an opportunity for them to strengthen emotions and relationships, notably the sisterly bond they share and the affection towards their father Wayne (David James Elliott).
“There is a lot of love, they are just really poor at communicating with each other,” Weltman said.
Scrofano commented, “The sisters had an inherent space between them. Dana and Emma didn’t have many opportunities to build a strong bond. Revival Day serves as a trial to see if they can reunite as a family, either successfully or not.
Based on the comic written by Seeley and Nortz, and developed by Aaron B. Koontz and Boyce, the series titled “Revival” is set to debut on June 12th on SYFY channel.
