As a devoted fan of Bollywood, I can’t help but reminisce about the golden era when Salman Khan and Govinda graced our screens together in the hilarious romantic-comedy, Partner. Their chemistry was unparalleled, making it one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2007! Hearing that there might have been talks for a sequel fills me with excitement and nostalgia.

Being married to Govinda himself, Sunita Ahuja’s comments on the potential Partner 2 only fuel my anticipation. When I heard her say that she had heard lots about the project but didn’t know what happened, I couldn’t help but think, “Well, if Partner 2 does happen, it better not be a case of ‘out of sight, out of mind!'”

I also found it heartwarming to hear her express her feelings on Varun Dhawan being compared to Govinda. I mean, who wouldn’t feel flattered to be compared to such a legendary actor? But as a wife and a mother, I understand her protective instincts when she said that he might feel bad for being compared to someone like Salman Khan or Govinda’s brother, Chi-Chi bhaiya.

I can’t help but smile at Sunita’s comparison of Varun Dhawan to her husband, describing him as a “bachpan se chulbula bacha tha” (happy-go-lucky child). It reminds me of the joy and laughter that Govinda brought to our lives through his movies.

In closing, I can’t wait for Partner 2 to become a reality, if only so I can relive the magic once more! And who knows, maybe they’ll even throw in a cameo from Chi-Chi bhaiya to keep us on our toes! After all, laughter is the best medicine, and we could all use a dose of it!

During an interaction with TopMob’s Hindi Rush, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja expressed her thoughts on Govinda and Salman Khan collaborating again, following their previous movie “Partner”. She appreciated the quality of that film and hoped for a sequel, expressing her desire to see both actors reunite in “Partner 2”.

Sunita mentioned that she had heard a lot about Partner 2, but she wasn’t aware of what transpired regarding the project. If they proceed with it, that would be fantastic, as the public seemed to favor both of them together.

In the conversation, the wife of Hero No. 1 actor expressed her thoughts about people comparing Varun Dhawan to her husband. She found it hard to grasp why this comparison was made, adding, “They say they compare him, but I can’t fathom why they do so. It would surely feel awkward for him if he were compared to Salman Khan and ‘Chi-Chi’ brother, too.

She went on to explain, “From what we’ve seen, the man has acted in 17-18 of David Dhawan’s films alongside his father, Govinda. It’s only natural that some similarities would show up, as Varun was a cheerful and carefree child since his early days.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in Sikandar releasing on Eid 2025.
