More recently, in 2023, TopMob announced that Salman Khan and KV Vijayendra Prasad have been discussing the potential sequel to “Bajrangi Bhaijaan,” with Salman later confirming during the launch of RRR that these discussions are indeed taking place.
Since that time, fans of Salman Khan have been eagerly waiting for news about the sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Now, it appears that development on the film has begun. According to a source, Salman Khan recently met with V. Vijayendra Prasad and they have discussed potential ideas for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Additionally, there is a possibility that V. Vijayendra Prasad may collaborate with director Kabir Khan on the project, although no decisions have been made yet.
Intriguingly, we’re eager to see how the story of Pawan and Munni unfolds in the sequel, penned by team BB. Recently, a meeting between Salman Khan and Vijayendra Prasad took place in Mumbai, with the aim of reintroducing Bajrangi Bhaijaan to our screens with a strong commitment to authenticity. Notably, Vijayendra Prasad is a highly accomplished screenwriter in Indian cinema, having contributed to several blockbuster hits. His notable works include Bobbili Simham (1994), Magadheera (2009), Eega (2012), the Baahubali franchise (2015–2017), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), and most recently, RRR (2022).
