A source reveals that the well-known actor Sunny Deol is set to make his Netflix debut with an action-filled movie, which will be directed by Siddharth P Malhotra. The film is inspired by the 2007 film Death Sentence, starring Kevin Bacon, and has been translated into Hindi by Suparn Verma. The production of this currently unnamed action flick is scheduled to start in July 2025, with a release date set for 2026. The source also mentions that Sunny Deol has reserved a substantial number of dates for the shoot and will receive a generous remuneration for leading the film.
Currently, Sunny is working on the film “Border 2,” directed by Anurag Singh. He will continue shooting for this project until the end of June. After that, he plans to complete his previous obligations with the film “Lahore: 1947.” Following that, he has a brief schedule for a project called “Ramayana with Nitesh Tiwari, where he plays Hanuman.” According to the source, after finishing these three projects, Sunny will move on to an as-yet-untitled Netflix original.
